Terminology

NEON is a relational database application, and as such, an understanding of the following database terms and concepts is essential:

Login and Password

Access to NEON requires a QuickBase login and password. Disability Service Providers at an institution are provided with their own login and password. Typically a user’s login is their email address. If you do not have a NEON login, you can Request Access to NEON.

Multiple logins with the same QuickBase login are allowed. Passwords are case sensitive.

Forgotten Password

If you have forgotten your QuickBase password, you will need to verify your identity and change your password:

  1. On the QuickBase Sign In page, click the Forgot My Password button.
  2. In the text box provided, enter your e-mail address or screen name, and then click OK.
  3. A message appears telling you that QuickBase has sent you an e-mail message.
  4. Open the e-mail message and click the link to confirm that you want to change your password.
  5. Enter a new password twice in the two text boxes that are provided and click OK.
  6. The link returns you to QuickBase sign-in page. Enter your e-mail address or screen name and your new password to sign-in to QuickBase.

For more information about recovering a forgotten QuickBase password, see http://www.quickbase.com/help/default.html#forgot_your_password.html.
